Patrick Lane

Patrick Lane 23/07/1965 – 30/12/2015.

During his youth served as a scout in 1st River Trails in Gauteng, but left scouting at the end of his school career Former Conservation Manager for the Cederberg Wilderness Area and was based at Algeria. Patrick was a strong proponent of the Senior Scout Adventure being held in the Cederberg.

He assisted with the granting of Cape Nature permissions, bookings, hiking routes, Adventure base sites and infrastructure and ensuring the environment was protected for the 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016 Adventures. Patrick was a true friend of the Senior Scout Adventure”.
